In the framework of the EU funded AMELIE project, which aims to increase the capacity of healthcare and frontline service providers to identify, safely refer and provide gender- and trauma-sensitive services to trafficked persons, a transnational exchange workshop is organized online on Thursday, June 23rd, 11.00 – 17.00 (Europe/ Athens).
The workshop’s aim is to discuss the different responses to trafficking by professionals in Italy, Belgium, Greece and Germany, focusing on the health care/ medical sector. Among others, participants will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on the development of training material to healthcare professionals as well as on the operation and impact of Informal Transnational Referral Mechanisms.
